Here is a piece I did of a couple of Cartoon Monsters. This was a really fun piece to work on. It just seemed to flow right down on the digital canvas. In every piece I create, my most concern is the shadows and lights. I'm a big fan of computer animation. I think sometimes that is almost what I strive for. To have a 3D look! I think it is fun to see how realistic you can create the piece with lighting and shadows, but still at the same time have fun with it because it is still a Cartoon.
It has been a while since I have created fun monster cartoons. When I was younger I use to create these silly creatures all the time. I think what I like a bout monsters or creatures of other planets is, you really have full control over what the monster looks like or what there planet looks like. With this whole concepts leaves you with endless creativity possibilities. So I plan on creating some more cartoon illustrations like this one! maybe the next creature or monster cartoon I draw will be scarry and mean!! |
